We need to first look at your material and evaluate what we can use.

I cannot however take your old mixed gold and guarantee the karat of gold.

Hand-fabricated jewelry is created from raw metal (wire, sheet) by directly shaping, cutting, hammering, bending, and soldering parts together.

This involves building a piece from scratch.

Today, everybody uses handmade as a key word, but be aware that this could mean hand-finished, like mass produced jewelry, or hand assembled, putting finished pieces together.

I use Lost wax casting for many of my designs and custom designs. This involves hand carving a hard flexible wax that is then cast into solid metal.

Carving wax allows for unique shapes and creativity that would other wise be difficult for handfabrication.

Carving involves special tools and equipment and can involve many hours of work.
